Healthy birthday snack ideas

Thread Starter
My son just started kindergarten and his birthday falls on a weekday. The teacher more than welcomes a small in class birthday celebration with snack. But it has to be a store bought snack and preferably not too messy. I would like to get something not too expensive , relatively healthy but still a treat.

I do not know of any food allergies, but the teacher is gluten free.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

What's your son's favorite snack? I'd be inclined to get that since cake isn't healthy. In my kids case it would be something like grapes and strawberry yogurt to dip em in.

i was going to suggest homebaked carrot cake but im at a bit of a loss when it comes to shop bought stuff... in the UK you can get kids snacks made from fruit and some other stuff, but not much which are really quite nice. sorry, not much help
