We've had a pretty fussy 2 nights recently, and he's been starting to drool and gnaw on his hands a lot. I looked and it looks like we might be getting two top teeth in the next month or so. Oy, just when we had a great routine down!

Wow, early teether! See if he will chew on something soothing (other than his hands, of course!) like an amber necklace or frozen washcloth. DS didn't get a tooth until he was 7 months!

Hylands also makes a great teething gel.

DDC crashing...I just wanted to point out that amber teething necklaces are NOT made to be chewed on. They are meant to be worn on the skin and the heat of the skin releases something that can soothe teething pain. They are in no way meant as a teether.

My second got her first 2 teeth at 3 months.

Rudy has been drooling and gnawing on his hands for 2 weeks now.......I think it is a common thing at this age?....saw another baby near his age yesterday doing the same thing.....

here's to hoping we don't have a lot of early teethers.....

DS1 did all this around the same age and didn't have teeth until 6-7mos (then he got a whole bunch at once) DS2 is "teething" but I am assuming it will be several more mos for him too...I certainly hope so!

Jewel has been teething for about a week now too. Lots of chewing on stuff and fussing. Also last night she woke up a couple times and was chewing on her fists, Sigh, I have enjoyed having a baby who sleeps through the night and do not want to give that up
