I am amazed to read about the variation among all of you! I am up about 10 lbs at 19 weeks. I don't really restrict my food in general when I'm not pregnant (if I'm hungry, I eat), so I feel like my body is just sort of gaining weight on its own. It's a strange and disorienting feeling, I must say.
As for clothes, I am fully in maternity clothes. All of my pants pinch too much when I sit down (and some pinch when I stand!). I am wearing mainly maternity shirts, too, mostly because they are more flattering than wearing my regular shirts. I especially like the shirts that emphasize the bump and make it look all cute.

I always lose weight while pregnant so I can't see how this time would be any different.

The maternity shirts definitely emphasize the bump.
(she was joking) It's true, though, I'm so short waisted, my babies just go straight out. Here's a pic from my last pregnancy at only 27 weeks:
I'm one of those tall/long torsoed girls who takes forever to look truly pregnant. My fundus is still well below my belly button at 19 weeks! I can't wait till I feel justified in wearing these maternity clothes.
I'm 5"4 115 lbs normally, so I tend to put on weight pretty quickly when pregnant. I'm busy
The smalls in maternity clothes fit me pretty well, but I'm sure I'll have to up that to a medium or maybe large as I grow.
