Best Back Carrier?

DS is 3.5 months, and I would really like to wear him on my back. Whats the best(and cheapest) carrier for back carries that will last until he is much older?(i'm thinking 4-5 years)

Right now, we use a rebozo tied in a slip knot for front and hip carries, but he's getting big, and it would be so much easier to have him on my back!

I was thinking about a mei tai, but what kind is good?

I've always liked the look of a meh tai but have never used one. I do have an ergo though which i love - front and back carrying (and side but i've never figured out how) and works for pretty much as long as one would need. I also like that i can use it and put a new baby in a sling on the front.

A mei tai or a longer wrap would both work well. Both are great for back carries and front carries, you can have the baby higher on your back or lower in front (high up in back is great for kids who want to look around). There are many, many brands of mei tais though. If you know of anyone in your area who babywears, the best way to start would be to try on other people's carriers to get a feeling of what you like and don't like. Maybe there is even a babywearing group in your area?
