I'm recovering well, ended up with a 2nd degree tear and a few stitches, but infinitely better than the 3rd degree episiotomy that I had with DS1. He had his hand up by his head while crowning, which is why the MW thought I tore.

I'll post a link to the full birth story when it's written. But meanwhile, pics!
Congrat's!
Love the name August and what a little cuddley cutie he is!

Congratulations! It's wonderful to hear about the vegan babies being born!

Could I join? I just found out I'm pregnant with my third. Probably due around September or October. This was a surprise, so I don't really know exactly when it happened. And for some reason, I have no memory of the dates of my LMP. So, we shall see...My first appointment with a midwife is this Friday.

I've been vegan for my two other pregnancies. The first one was perfect. The second one was difficult because I was so nauseous all the time. I didn't eat right or exercise and ended up with high blood pressure. This one, I'm striving to eat lots of protein and walk for at least an hour each day. The nausea has hit, and I haven't been up to par on my protein plans for a few days. The main protein source I can stomach is chocolate soymilk.....Not the most nutritious....but better than nothing? How much protein do you all eat each day?
