I am now the proud owner of three dozen regular prefolds, one dozen medium Fuzzi Bunz, and some covers and wet bags, AS WELL AS a new baby carrier. I am pretty well set up.
I think the best part was when dh said in all seriousness, "I don't understand why disposable diapers still exist." Everyone sort of looked at him funny and then changed the subject.
Do you think I should wait until after the baby is born to prewash the diapers (since it will be a while before he/she grows into them--I already have the newborn diapers prepped) or do you think I should just go ahead and do it now? Any tips on how to introduce Fuzzi Bunz to caregivers who have never seen a cloth diaper before? (That's pretty much why I wanted them.) If I have to buy any extra covers for the prefolds, which covers do you think are most likely to take a beating in the laundry?
So yeah, I now pretty much don't ever have to buy diapers again, so I guess I'll have to stay off the boards.
