Roll call says me, Lucia (Fyrebloom), MamaAcorn, & GinnyMama...
love4acr is on there too, but she just had her baby (congrats again!)

How are our October mamas doing? Anybody else out there patiently waiting?
I am an October momma in waiting. lol I usually go late, so let's hope that it doesn't end up being November. I was contracting last night at about 3-5 minutes apart. They settled down after an hour or two. Here is to hoping the baby is ready soon!

Hanging in there! Due tomorrow so I figure he'll be here in two weeks LOL!

Lots of really hard prodromal labor last night. I was really hurting and I didn't sleep. Nada today. Each time I have prodromal it gets more and more intense, I just need to break atmo I guess

Seriously trying to resist the urge to get castor oil. I'm so done. It's been a long month and a half lots of prodromal labor and i'm tired. I want my life to start again, I'm just so tired of putting everything and everyone on hold because i don't know if today's prodromal is actually early labor. It sucks. Patience and 40 weeks pregnant doesn't fit well in the same sentance for me LOL! I'm trying though, I haven't given in yet .

I am due November 5th, but have only made it to my due date once, with my first This is my first time posting here for this pregnancy I'm a little late! Anyways, this is my 8th baby, up/uc. All ready and set to go, just need to get some type of scale. Feeling pretty good overall, but the past few days, the baby moved lower an it is so hard to walk!!! No aches and pains, though Nice to see some other October mamas!

Eh, I'm one of those annoying people who feel just great during the late 3rd trimester. No problems here. I'll have to admit though, this pregnancy has taken a lot more out of me than my other two. Maybe it's the close spacing or maybe I'm just getting old!

Add me to the list too! We're due any day now. (LMP put me due the 9th...an early U/S after I had some heavy bleeding put me due on 10/19). I've had LOTS of contractions lately (the other night they were 3 min. apart from midnight to 5 a.m.), but nothing that goes anywhere.

I'm ready though. Nesting like CRAZY today, so I'm hoping that's a sign of things to come!

I'm anxious to hear everyone's stories!!

Happy Birthing!

Me too! Although, I've pulled so much stuff out of closets, I think the house looks worse than before!

Welcome to the club!

This is my first time posting...I usually read

I'm due Nov 5th...I've had the strongest feeling since I was a few weeks pregnant that he was going to come in Oct not Nov.
I've begun nesting like crazy. Last night I had pretty painful contractions every 5 minutes for a few hours then they gradually slowed down.

I went 10 days over with my son and was induced and never felt that feeling like hes ready..but this time I'm getting a feeling like this is coming to an end.

I have a few more things I need to pick up before we can give birth and then I'll feel like I can relax!

How exciting we have so many october UCers! Blessed birthing to everyone! I can't wait to hear more birth stories!

Just waiting! I've been in early labor/prodromal labor for over a week and a half. I'm getting so tired, but hanging in there. Each day, it seems to step up a notch, and I find myself thinking "this HAS to be it" every single day. *sigh* I had my first at 37 weeks, and I also started laboring then with this babe, so I never thought in a million years that I'd be sitting here, 39 weeks pregnant!

I'm 39 weeks pregnant. I've only had one episode of prodromal labor and it wasn't fun, I can't imagine going through it every day. You and Lucia (Fyrebloom) should be able to commiserate though ... she's been having it for weeks!

Maybe all the prodromal labor is getting you ready for an easy birth! Here's hoping! Keeping hanging in there.

Sorry to hear about the prodromal Ginnymama. I've had it every pregnancy. This baby it's been about 7 weeks . I'm really stretched from having twins last time and its taking more to pull things together I suppose. Hopefully it'll be over for all of us very soon!

Fyrebloom: Oy, 7 weeks? yeesh... I'm at about 2 1/2 right now, and it just keeps upping in intensity. I'm so tired! I've got a question for you. How do you know when "this is it"? I don't mind waiting for baby, but I do feel sort of cheated out of that defining "This is it!" moment. I feel like I won't even know. Yesterday morning, at 4, I was woken by quite intense contractions, every 3-4 minutes. I labored quietly for a few hours, thinking This Is It!!! Uh... nope. Guess not. I'm glad DH had the day off anyway, because I would have told him to stay home, that we were having a baby! And I would have been wrong. I think that unless my waters break or I'm greeted with an amazing amount of bloody show, I won't even know when it really is time.
I'll let you know when I find out! I have had prodromal labor with every pregnancy. With DS I was induced... it didn't feel any different until my water broke. With DDs I had a c-section due to pre-e. I have no idea what to expect this time. The other night I was contracting every 2 min. I started another contraction as soon as I came down off the first. It was intense. That was tuesday, I'm still pregnant. I was certain It was labor and yes It was more prodromal. SO lousy. I keep telling myself this is just my body getting ready and I'll progress one of these times when the baby and my womb are ready to part ways, but until then I'm in the same boat. People keep telling me "i'll know" I don't believe them . I've got this feeling I'm not going to believe it until I have a baby crowning or something.
It's funny you say that about the crowning. That's what I keep telling people, too. I won't know for sure until this babe is coming out!

we switched to the new moon phase...did that moon phase change do anything for anyone yet?
