Who else is due in October? - Page 2

I've been having contractions off and on for the last two days. I have lost my mucous plug and had bloody show. I'm really hoping he wants to come earth side soon. I thought yesterday was going to be the day I had contractions for hours between 2-5 mins apart and then they disappeared. Although Thursday nothing at all was happening with my cervix and now I'm about 2 cms and 70 percent effaced so progress.

41 weeks and waiting. MW thinks it'll be any day now. I hope so. I bound my belly today which felt so good. Back and ligaments all supported. No contractions while bound. Giving my Didymos a good workout prebaby . I got a really nice LOOOONG nap, and I so needed it after last night.

I've stopped taking prenatals (they have RRL) and i'm really really trying to relax. Nothing to irritate my uterus. I think unless everything is READY nothing it going to happen and I don't need to be in anymore pain. I'm feeling much more optimistic this evening. Sleep really does help. Hopefully I'll be posting my birth story in a couple of days!

(it snowed today in MA. DS was born on the first snow 4 years ago in Nov. Kinda hoping this little guys follows suit )

hmmm...is this just because of your prodomal labor or should we all stop taking RRL at the end? dd was born at 42 weeks and 6 days and i was drinking RRL heavily up until the end..hope that is not why it took her so long to be born!

i just bought more RRL today..so, tell me what you know

That must have done it for me!

Autumn Elizabeth was born on Friday, October 16th at 9:48 pm after a yet another short labor lasting 48 minutes. Our midwife made it in time for the birth after all, which was a surprise to us all, so no UC this time around, but that's okay. She was totally hands off and on board with us the entire pregnancy and I must admit, it was nice not having to deal with the clean-up afterwards!

Baby Autumn weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was born with her hand up on her cheek. We're having a delightful babymoon!

Thinking of you all and hoping that you'll be holding your little ones soon!

Because of the prodromal. I don't want anything making me more uncomfy then I already am. Still contracting alot. Getting hard to walk around again.

Welcome Earthside Autumn! We were planning on naming this LO Autumn if he had been a she. Love the name!
