Babywearing everywhere!

We went to the Pumpkin Patch today, and I swear I have never seen so many babies being worn! Bjorns, slings, pouches, ergos, wraps...all over the place and only a handful of strollers. I had a double stroller, and traded out which kiddo got to ride in the sling. It was wonderful to see!

DD has been very fussy lately (she's 4 months adjusted age so is going through that whole 4 months growth spurt/fussiness, plus sleeping strike and nursing strike!) and DH now routinely wears her around the house! When he's home and she starts fussing, he grabs the Bjorn and she loves being worn by Daddy! I'm trying to get him to wear my floral Mei Tai, but...baby steps.

I saw the same thing at the apple orchard a couple of weeks ago. It was really amazing. I actually had a woman walk up to me and say "Is that a Scootababy?" (and it was). I NEVER saw other women babywearing when my 4yo was a baby.

Very cool! I haven't seen many babywearers lately. Well, except for all the awesome AP mamas we have playgroup with! At least I have them to help me feel "normal"!!!

That's great! We went to the zoo this past weekend and there were only a couple of women BWing. Most everyone else had a stroller or had rented one of those little cart things.

The plus side I found: I didn't have to park my stroller before I went to the indoor things. No unloading a bunch of stuff, worrying about it getting stolen, or waking a sleeping baby.

That is awesome! I love it whenever I see bw'ing when we're out and about. It's so wonderful!
