Preschool learning book

Can someone recommend books for aged 3-6 that are interactive learning books (like dry erase, circle the odd one out, cut and paste this, tie this shoe, etc.) that are Montessori based?

All I can find are books instructing me how to use Mont. techniques.

This might also be good for people who travel alot and want to learn outside the home....

With the disclaimer that I am not a Montessori expert, one of the things that most attracted us to Montessori was that it is grounded in the manipulation of three-dimensional objects. So although there are sort of paper-and-pen things that fit in at our school, mostly they don't. So I'm not sure there is a book like you're describing.

Thank you for your reply. You're right, there may not be anything out there like that!

I have been trying many hands on activities but find that my 3 year old uses the objects involved in very different, and usually inappropriate ways...ie throwing things, hitting them together until they chip or break, becomes bored really easy, etc. However, I've found that when we sit down together to work on dry erase books, activity books, etc., the outcome is much better. So we have been doing some "unschooling"...basically taking trips and doing alot of explaining about things to him, which he picks up really well, and supplementing with books.

He is also in a non Montessori preschool 2 days a week with good results. The teacher says that circle time and craft time are his favorite subjects. But I think the 5 areas of Montessori are very valuable and would like to incorporate them.

I thought this was kind of neat...a whole year's curriculum in wipe off style. I wish this was Montessori based...
