Thank you for your reply. You're right, there may not be anything out there like that!
I have been trying many hands on activities but find that my 3 year old uses the objects involved in very different, and usually inappropriate ways...ie throwing things, hitting them together until they chip or break, becomes bored really easy, etc. However, I've found that when we sit down together to work on dry erase books, activity books, etc., the outcome is much better. So we have been doing some "unschooling"...basically taking trips and doing alot of explaining about things to him, which he picks up really well, and supplementing with books.
He is also in a non Montessori preschool 2 days a week with good results. The teacher says that circle time and craft time are his favorite subjects. But I think the 5 areas of Montessori are very valuable and would like to incorporate them.
