Anyone else having crazy vivid dreams?

It's funny because I have narcolepsy, so I'm used to having crazy vivid dreams, but for the last 5 yrs I've been on a med that gives me normal sleep, so I don't recall most of my dreams or they're far more mundane until the last two nights.

I'm 5 wks today, if I'm counting right (ovulated Sept 20th), and for the last few nights I've had unbelievably realistic dreams...one my hubby & two kids (fyi I'm preg w/our first now) and I are living at Walmart...we're trying to find a place to have sex where the kids or customers won't walk in on us...he disappeared and I ended up getting totally lost in the store. Prob b/c I never shop there. Hah.

Another one, this blond Britney Spears type woman (only much prettier) has broken into my house where I'm home alone, and she's singing, but I'm sorta chasing her around the sofa to get her out. She woudn't answer my questions - just kept singing & swaying around the room. But it was SOO REAL.

In the same night, I also dreamt I was out w/friends on an African safari and we were about to get stampeded by elephants so we wanted to climb this cluster of trees...got up the trunk, but some sort of evil monkey had just killed another animal, so we're up there but really freaking out, waiting for the elephants to leave...I always wake up before anything bad happens.

Anyway, what sort of crazy dreams are you having?

I have them too!! I had one where I was best friends with Madonna, lol! EVERY night I have them and when I'm not pregnant I rarely remember my dreams.

I can't remember any specifics right now, but I've been having really vivid ones since conception preactically. It was the same way with DS and they didn't stop until he was born.

I dreamed I gave birth to a half baby/half kitten that slept on my shoulder under my hair. Then last night I dreamed that I was carrying around a bowl of cottage cheese and calling it my baby.

Yeah, I woke up in a panic at 6 this morning because I dreamt someone was knocking very hard on the back door window. It took me a few minutes to realize that it was not real, only because I remember the words "I am knocking on your back door window" as the knocking was going on and that clearly made no sense.

I had the same kind of dreams with my first. I would dream about something mostly realistic and the setting and time was always consistent with where I currently was. I would always wake up at some point and wonder if it was real or not. It actually got kinda creepy at some point with a recurring dream. After a few times, I would be conscious while dreaming and I would be unable to move until I got to the part in the dream where I always woke up.

I also remmeber dreaming a few times that the baby would just pop out and we would hang out. I would then just pop the baby back in for a nap.

Anyhow, pregnancy dreams are just strange.

Not really a dream but it shows just how weird my mind has got.

I woke up to what I thought was my cell phone ringing. I usually keep my phone on vibrate and it makes a distinct noise if it is next to something like a water bottle. I swore I heard that noise. I jumped up and looked all over my bedside table and floor. Couldn't find the phone.

DH asks me what I am looking for. I told him "My phone" and he asked why. I told him that it was ringing and vibrating against my water bottle.

He looked at me strangely and said, "Honey. I just farted. That is the noise you heard. I was waiting for you to laugh at me."

Yep. I could have written this verbatim!

yes. I should have known something was up when I had this dream that I beheaded Micheal Jackson. I told DH about it in the morning & we were cracking up @ how bizarre it was & chalked it up to me watching part of one of the special tributes that was on E! Now it all makes sense I had crazy dreams while pregnant with dd too!

I had dream last night about eating chicken soup and that everyone knew I was pregnant because I was eating the chicken soup. Weird.

I literally laughed out loud Tracearound, at your farting "incident." Farting is so funny to us now, since I've reached a gassy phase.

I'm due in March and I've been having crazy, vivid, extremely detailed dreams ever since my bfp!

Farting is always funny to us. DH and I have a very juvenile sense of humor.

I haven't hit the gassy stage but I tend to be a bit on the gassy side anyway due to gluten intolerance. Pregnancy just makes it all the more hilarious.

Apparently the other night (asleep) I accused dp of molesting or wanting to, Mark Twain.

I am not sure he knows how Mark Twain is..

Yes. It's irritating, for me anyway. :/

Last night, I dreamt that we saw twins on the u/s. Now, I'll do another twin pg but do I want too? NO. LOL.

Needless to say, when I saw ONE bean on the u/s today, I was relieved.

Yep! Last night I was apparently starving and was trying to harvest bananas from pine trees. Stupid bananas were so high up

I am just wondering when the vivid dreams are going to turn really *naughty* like last time

The one I had the night before last was pretty memorable. I dreamed that I was in a movie with the little brother of a high school friend. I was a young, virginal, blond with no legs and he was a brooding med school student. He was refusing to complete his residency and no one knew why. We were falling in love and I was determined to find out the truth about what happened. It felt so real.

Almost all of my dreams lately have involved people from my past and they are generally about some kind of romantic relationship or pursuit of. My DH has yet to make an appearance in any of my dreams.
