Their dreams for their adult life?

DSD is 16, and she wants to be a photographer / make up artist, and she wants to have one kid (a boy, that will be a rock star ).

What about your kids? No matter what age they are, I'm sure some of them have plans. My little nephew wanted to be a "snow shoveler" at some point, and the other one wanted to be a programmer, just like his dad.

Let's get inspired! Share your kids' dreams here!

DD (almost 3) once told me she wanted to grow up to be a "woman cow that talks" and her name would be cheese. Then she was on a farmer kick for a while, but just yesterday she told me she wanted to be a tractor. Go figure.

My dd is 4, almost 5, and says that she wants to be a doctor, never get married and get her kids through the mail (I guess she means adoption, though I don't know why she thinks they come through the mail, lol.)

Ds is 2.5 and wants to Yoda.

My 7yo wants to go to MIT and become a scientist. His area of concentration varies, but he always comes back to robotics. He's a very serious kid.

My 4 yo wants to be a vulcanologist (so he can watch Mt. Rainier erupt - he's very insistent that it's going to), an astronaut (so he can explore alternate universes in other dimensions), and "mom, what's that kind of doctor that gets to cut people open? Oh, yeah...a surgeon!" He's also going to have 90 kids and really big backyard and he'll live across the street from me.

My 10 year old wants to be a PE teacher, which makes me laugh my butt off, because he HATES PE when it's PE day at school.

I just asked dd (4) and she said she wanted to play tennis. Totally fine with me since it's my favorite sport and I'd planned to start lessons with her soon anyway!

I'm sure if I ask tomorrow (or in a couple hours for that matter) it will be something different. I'm always entertained and delighted by her wonderful hopes, dreams, and wishes.

My twin nephews are 17, and N. says he wants to be an orthodontist because "it's good money but no one's going to be calling for an emergency in the middle of the night", and S. has recently informed everyone that his plan is to marry a rich woman. He's been informed that's not really a viable career plan, but so far he's sticking to it.

dd cant decide. at 2 she thought being the garbage man was the coolest thing in the world. from 3 onwards seh has been pretty consistent about being a doctor. but she has also wanted to be an actor, singer dancer. at 7 she cant decide which ones she wants to be the most. she wants to do it all.

however she has been consistent of saying she will build a house with a luxurious motherinlaw cottage where i will live. she will go off to work and leave her two or 4 kids with me. i should not worry. she will take care of me.

When I asked DD what she wanted to be when she grew up recently, she said, "A swiper at the grocery store because than everyone would give me lots of money."

She meant the check out clerk at the grocery store. She was a little sad when I explained that the clerk does not get to keep all of the money in the register.

Ds1 used to say he wants to be a dad, an artist, and work with computers (in that order). Dad was always the first thing he mentioned. But now he's convinced he's going to invent these magical machines that will turn him into a superhero.
