craft idea for montessori fall festival?

hi -

i need crafting ideas for my kids' classes for their fall festival party. i should state that i am non-crafty, and that my son will not participate in face painting. my kids' ages are almost 7 (boy) and almost 4 (girl).

They made kites at our fall festival with newpaper, chop sticks and a strip of fabric that the kids tore from a bigger piece. Then they could paint them.
