Fleece Lining

I was changing my sons diaper (not circumcised) and I noticed the tip of his penis was a little red.

It was suggested that it might be a diaper rash or that it's irritated on the Case against Circumcision thread and I was wondering if a fleece lining would help with that in his diapers. He's in a natural fiber cotton diaper. I plan on doing naked time for him during a nap every day.

I asked my dr about this a few weeks ago and he said that it was from the moisture. So I just try to change more frequently, and occasionally put ointment on it. Give him air time. And it's a lot better!

It may help to use a fleece liner because it would wick moisture away. We use a mish-mash of different diapers, so it's hard for me to say for sure if it makes a difference.

I do change him frequently during the day (minus his 3 hours nap) and I use ointment. But he sleeps 12 hours straight at night, so that was when I was thinking of fleece liners.
