It's been hard, but that made it worth it

I really want to do CLW. I really do. It's hard, but I'm doing it. I nurse DD as often as I can, I did have to night wean her when I was pregnant, (I just couldn't handle it at night) but I do my best.
Now, I have a nursing 3 year old, and a nursing 15 mo old.
DD loves it when I say "Mommy milk for everyone!" because she LOVES tandem nursing. It's not really something I can do very often, but I try.
Yesterday it was really really hard to nurse anyone, (I got my period today, so now I know why) and I had to stop nursing DD after about 15 seconds. I offered to snuggle and she accepted. I was feeling really bad about having to stop, and I said "I'm sorry i couldn't nurse you longer, I really wanted to, but it hurt" DD reached up, put her hand on my cheek, and said "it's okay mommy, you tried your best"
She kissed me, and said "I love you mommy"

That just melted my heart.
It was so sweet and so very unexpected. I really needed that. I mean REALLY needed that.
