Any one due this week and frustrated??

Thread Starter
I am due Friday but feel like I was gonna have baby earlier. I have been having the following symptoms that have contributed to this anxiety and frustration:
- boobs leaking lots in past month, especially last few days having to wear pad
- loss of mucous plug for last few weeks
- intense BH and they are getting longer, but still irregularly spaced out
- nausea
- loss of appetite
- constipation
- pelvic bone hurting from walking
- sleepless nights
- lack of motivation to go in public
- irritability from texts, emails, calls asking if baby is born yet when I am still 5 days from due date!

I am having a homebirth and the house is beyond ready ..I am running out of things to do and am so ready for this baby! Any one else have the same symptoms?..due soon?..ideas to keep mind off of the calendar and away from people who are constantly asking if the baby has come yet??

Add me to the party. I was due Saturday.
Aside from the plug loss - I have all your symptoms too.

My problem is that I keep inventing projects to do that exhaust me. For example, my house is mostly ready for the homebirth (there is some housework that needs to be done but it involves lifting etc that I just cant do so I'm not counting it).

Anyway, instead of just sitting and knitting or reading a book or doing something relaxing, this morning I made two lasagna's (all from scratch with freaking bechamel sauce no less). NOW my kitchen looks like a bomb went off and I'm totally bagged. I don't recommend this as a helpful way to pass time.

i'm due next sunday, but my husband is convinced that i'm birthin' on Friday. i know he means well, but it's driving me a bit crazy.

i'm frustrated, but for bit different reasons
....had to have the plumber in today because the toilet kept running plus the kitchen sink sprung a leak. we're having a home birth, so i of course panicked a bit, but they just left and everything is fixed.
....i've had a ton of prelabor stuff, but no mucus plug appearance yet and no contractions that are regular. all the pain and no "payoff" LOL
....even though i'm not working the fulltime day job currently, i'm still doing the parttime book design and we're in the middle of two projects. i want to get done as much as possible before i *pop* so i don't leave unfinished projects for other people to do.

oh, and i'm in the middle of sewing my diaper bag - i have all the pieces cut out, just have to sit down at the machine and sew it together. i think i need less to do right now!

i have to make lasagne tonight too! but i'm dividing the regular freezer recipe i have into three smaller loaf pans, so there's dinner tonight, plus two post-birth yummies.

YES!!! It feels like everybody is having their babies early!!! I am due on the 18th, but I am so uncomfortable. Baby has dropped, my pubic area is excruciating, I was bleeding, which stopped. I keep hoping every night when I wake up to pee that I will be in labor. but no dice. BABY BABY BABY!!! WE ARE WAITING!!!!! I want to meet you!!!!! I keep cleaning the house, and the kids keep messing it up LOL! Boy is that en exercise in futility. We did a big grocery shop for when baby arrives, so I hope it does not all get eaten! I can hardly walk! It is snowing outside. (Hooray Minnesota) I am stir crazy, and waiting. Gonna go take a bath!!! Good luck to all of the waitin' mamas.

Mmm-hmm. Due Thurs. I have very little indication, however, that this baby wants to come any time soon. I think my BP is creeping to a high enough level that I might have to transfer care to the hospital, so as much as I don't like the idea of forcing babies to come early, I'm thinking about having my membranes stripped at my appt Weds. We'll see. My midwife doesn't seem to be overly concerned about my BP, but I come from a family with massive Pre-e prevalence, I do *not* want to risk out of my HB if I can at all help it.

yep. just passing the last of my three (!) due dates today. hoping soon. feel it really will be.

keep telling myself, it's getting closer! that's the only way it can be, anyway!

this is so me! I am due the 17th but I feel like I'll go later. However, that hasn't kept me from obsessively cooking and cleaning and then telling the kids, "now don't mess anything up or eat anything or get any clothes dirty!" lol Truly a lesson in futility! I am also in MN so had to bust out all the winter gear today.

Was due on sunday. I've given up. I've decided I feel better when I'm out and about so I'm not going to stay home this week. We had a nice day at the park today and no contractions for once. Watch the MA news for the story about the woman who gave birth on the side of the rd because she was overdue and stir crazy

beyond frustrated. edd was 10/2. now i'm nervous we won't be eligible for a home birth if it doesn't happen by friday. don't even bring up phone calls, txts, e-mails from "well-meaning" friends and family... i take it out on my poor phone throwing it across the room attempting to aim for something squishy.
