constipated baby

Rowan's a month today - how did that happen? WOW

but he hasn't pooped in three days. He's been grunting for about an hour and just pushed out a rock hard lil pebble - poor thing. Clearly he's having some constipation.

Any ideas?

I breast feed and supplement some formula (depending on the day, my busyness and the quality of my milk). Earlier this week, I was sick so he had oh, 5-6 breast milk bottles, maybe 2 formula bottles a day. Yesterday had one formula bottle. Today no formula. Do you think that instability of formula could be causing constipation?

mama I feel for you
you can try to add a couple drops of prune juice to his formula and see if that helps...also drink lots of apple juice your self and increase your water if you are BF...
also you can give him an epsom salt bath and in the tub a little massage to the belly
