Baby is transverse/breech

Need some positive birth vibes. I'm 39 weeks and planning a homebirth and baby had decided to lie and remained either breech or transverse for the past four days. Have an appointment with my back up OB on Wednesday just in case plus an ultrasound. If baby moves breech we would still do a homebirth unless we suddenly didn't feel ok about it. This OB is amazing (he lets us still catch the babies we bring in as midwife transfers in the hospital) and said he would be willing to "accidentally" catch a breech baby if needed. But here is to hoping baby will turn either head up or down at this point.

*Update*
Baby turned then turned back then turned again. My insides feel like raw hamburger. Consult was canceled with OB since baby was head down but my midwife just talked to him again. He agreed to do a vaginal breech birth for me in the hospital if I wanted. He voted to break my water and induce the next time baby is head down but I don't feel comfortable with that. So we wait. I still think I have 1-2 weeks before baby will come so we are just focusing on baby staying head down as much as possible. Geez.

I know the stress you are feeling all too well!

You are very lucky to have care providers willing/able to help you with a breech birth if need be. No matter what happens, it'll be okay!
