My fourth boy in a row!! My only daughter, my first baby, is 18 & has moved out of the house. Now it's just me a whole HERD of BOYS! DH & I keep saying, "I can't believe we had another boy...." with a laugh.
AND. How weird is this: Of my 4 boys I've given birth to, three of them have weighed exactly 8lbs 13 oz at birth, including this one.
And the other boy? He weighed 10lbs 6oz! haha.
So, we don't post our kids' names online which is so sucky cuz I want to share so bad, but if any of you ddc friends of mine happen to be interested enough, you could PM me & I'd gladly share his name that way.
Little BOY
born at 2:05am on Oct. 12th after a 5 hour labor
born into his daddy's hands at our midwife attended homebirth
8lbs 13oz, 21.5 inches
He came 6 days before his due date
I didn't tear in the slightest, and besides the KILLER AFTERPAINS omg, I just feel tired & sore from my labor workout. I didn't really have any signs that labor was approaching! I was shocked when I realized "this is it!" I never even lost my mucous plug until labor, it was crazy! I never ever ever would have guessed yesterday morning that I'd be in labor that night. My labor was long, too, for me. Five hours is longer than my last 2 births combined. And it was all pretty bearable until the pushing stage. OH.MY.GAWD. Even though he came out in only 4 contractions, somehow I think it was 10billion times more painful than my other births. But anyway, I'll save all those juicy (& gory) details for my birth story that I'll get written up here soon & post it with lots of yummy, sweet little newborn BOY pictures.
I just can't believe I had another boy........ lol
My mom's on her way now!
She changed her flight from this Fri to today. DH is picking her up now. Thank god, I am soooooooo starving. My dh always forgets how hungry a post partum woman is. But not my mama!!
