Disposable or cloth training pants?

I am currently using cloth diapers (pre-folds and covers) for my 19 month old son. But right now, he is showing an interest in the potty. So, I'm thinking that maybe I should take advantage of that and start potty training now - or at least try it and see how it goes. The problem is that I really wasn't prepared to do it so soon and so I'm not sure if I should use disposable pull-ups or cloth training pants. I really want to use the one that has the most absorbancy (like diapers - I change my DS every 3 hours now) because like I said, I'm still not sure about potty training, I'd just like to try it and see what happens.

Thanks,
Christine

I guess my philosophy is that if you have always used cloth, why change now? Real underwear is cloth. No need to have a disposable phase.

In terms of cloth trainers...go with the Happy Heiny's. They can be stuffed with as much absorbency as you might need. You can vary the amount during the day or night (less during the day, and really load them up at night).

Good luck with the potty learning phase. It is an adventure.
