I can't get a snappi to work!!

Ok I admit to dumbness. This is suppose to be so simple. I got one snappi even though I don't really want to use it, but I do need to know how. I have tried practicing on stuffed animals. It will not stay put and makes snags in my prefolds. Help.

thats weir maybe you got a bad one I don't have to work at all to use mine it jsut catches the fabric with out me working at it. The middle one would often come undone but that wasn't a biggie. It would sometiems snag the prefolds but it go away never stayed snagged. What are you trying to snappi some fabrics like flannel wont work.

Sorry if this is a dumb ? but are you stretching the snappi? It will leave snag marks but after washing they are gone. Did you read the prep directions that came w/it? Hope you figure it out they are wonderful!

yes, I stretch it and i have read the vague directions a hundred times. This is on a regular ub prefold, not flannel. Am I supposed to be doing something with the stretchy ring things?
