Imse Vimse, Thirsties or Bummi's?

I am going to start cloth diapering my dd that is 2 months old and I plan trifolding prefolds to put in a cover. I thought I would buy a few different covers to see what I like the best but in a way I would like to buy all of the same kind...

Should I try Bummi's SWW, Thirsties Sized and Imse Vime soft or Organic cotton?

On Nicki's diapers you can trial covers for 15 days to see if you like them if you don't then you can return them. WHat do you all think?

Imse Vimse, hands down. We don't use anything else, I like the organic cotton best but the soft are nice too.

Huge Imse Vimse fan here. They are just extremely well made.

Have you thought of Mother-ease or the Duo Wraps by Thirsties?

There are so many options.....

my trifolded prefolds shifted too much in the imse vimse but I overall liked that best (I prefer to fasten) Bummi came in a strong second. Thirsties didn't really come out untill after my first so I have no IRL experience with that I have some and they seem nice though.
FWIW I like this http://www.jilliansdrawers.com/produ...ercoversampler it would give you a simple sampling of 4 very hightly used and rated covers its totally worth trying a few out to see what honestly works best for you. SOme even find they like more than one for diffrent reasons.

For trifolding i would say bummies.....however i do not like bummies or thirsties covers.

I will only ever buy imse vimse covers. They are so comfy on my dd, and no leaks.

I love imse Vimse too! They do work best over a snappied prefold, but I love the roomy fit and the soft velcro in front.

I didn't love thirsties like I thought I would. They were waaaay to small in the thighs for my chubby guy. And I hated Bummi's SWW with ds1 becasue they were too thick and stiff.

Thirsties diaper covers were most definitely my favorite cover! They have a super generous cut, are really soft and flexible, a breeze to wipe clean, come in a variety of colors, and very durable. I didn't care for the fit of IV covers whatsoever! And, I have never used Bummis (but, they do offer super cute prints...).

I swear, you are the only other person I have ever met who didn't like Thirsties! Only, my problem with them, other than that they seemed flimsily made, was that they were incredibly, incredibly, incredibly bulky. And I'm one who doesn't care about bulk. Seriously, I like Mother-ease, for heaven's sake. But the Thirsties were just ridiculous. I tried 3 different versions in different sizes and they were all horribly bulky. I've heard much better things about the Duo wraps and if I were starting over I might try them, but as it is I'm done trying new things--I like Bummis Super Whisper Wraps and that's what I'm going to stick with unless there's a reason not to.

I tried an Imse Vimse Bumpy Soft cover once and liked it but didn't love it. They have a snap version now that looks nifty to me.

I agree about the Thirsties being bulky (my trifolded prefolds always bunched and moved around). I found them to be cut funny for my guy. They totally ate up his thighs. I like more of a bikini cut cover or one with a larger area of velcro (like the IV) so I could have more of a custom fit.

For trifolding, Bummis will work the best.
