Hi mamas,
I had to stop using tampons after the birth of DS because it was so uncomfortable. I could never get them into the right 'spot', and it I left one in for more than an hour it would be... bent? when I removed it, like it had been pushed down. My NP said nothing looked abnormal to her at my annual exam (I was afraid my cervix was really low or starting to prolapse or something) so I have no idea why this was happening. I chalked it up to one of those things nobody ever tells you about childbirth.
I'd like to give the Diva cup a try, but I'm wondering if I'll encounter the same problem. I don't want to spend money on it if I won't be able to use it, yk? Part of the pain I was having with tampons was from the dryness of them, which won't be a problem with the Diva, but there's still the positioning issue. Any thoughts?
