When Liam was born he weighed in at 6lbs 9oz..and was 20in. When we checked out of the hospital he weighed 6lbs 3oz.

Two weeks later, (you know, when babies 'should' be back up to their birthweights...) he weighed 7lbs 8oz!!! And was 21in! AMAZING...

Even though I breastfed both my other two, and actually have been breastfeeding for almost 4 yrs straight....I am constantly amazed at the power of breatmilk! Hooray

No kidding! Zander was 7 pounds 13 ounces at birth, 7 pounds 5 ounces at 2 days old, and today at 9 days old he is 8 pounds 1.4 ounces! Whoa!

I am a first-timer so my amazement is new. It makes the pain of my sore nipples and engorged breasts, and even the sleep deprivation seem totally worth it, when I see my baby growing and thriving!

DD3 was 6 lbs, 10.2 oz at birth. Late Wednesday night/ early Thursday morning, she had dropped to 6 lbs, 3 oz. Yesterday at her first check up with her pediatrician, she weighed 6 lbs, 1.6 oz. Since she was just six days old yesterday, her pediatrician wasn't concerned and said that loss was about right, especially for an exclusively breastfed baby.

I'm anxious for her check up on October 22nd to check her weight again since this is the first time I have exclusively breastfed any of my children, but I'm loving how happy she seems!

Clementine was 6 pounds 15 ounces and born on a Friday. The following Tuesday she had dropped to 6 pounds, 9 ounces. At her two week checkup she was 7 pounds, 9 ounces. So 15 ounces in 10 days, woot!
