I'm not actually due for a while, though full-term. I thought I was going to work part time right up until the babe comes, but.. I can't walk without almost unbearable pain...
It feels like I dislocated my hip~ all that relaxin, I guess. I have gained an excessive amount of weight with this pregnancy, as well.
did anyone else have this happen? it's only on the one side, and if i sit or lie down, it doesn't hurt.. but when I get up, I feel as though I'm going to topple over and then limp oh-so-slowly around. I can't do housework or ANYTHING and I'm so frustrated!!!!

I wouldn't say it is normal, but things like that can happen. I would highly suggest getting to a chiropractor. I started going to one at about 35 weeks and I feel awesome. I have minor pains that are to be expected with my increased size and such, but nothing like I have had in the past. My time spent on that table is so enjoyable. The table is so comfy and she just does such a good job working on my problem areas. My chiro specializes in prenatal chiropractic care and I would suggest you find one that does the same.

Good luck!

I too suggest a chiropractor. I went to mine yesterday and he said my pelvis was a bit mis aligned so he put it back in place for me. It didnt hurt at all when he did it and he was very gentle.

I've been like this for the last couple of weeks. The odd day I'm bedridden. Even in bed, any moving around causes extreme pain. I hear a lot of grinding and cracking when I do. In my experience, nothing helped but delivery.
