Hep A&B (Twinrix) vax

Thread Starter
what can you tell me about it? we are going to Mexico in February and we will have a 4mth old (who won't get the vax anyway) and a 3year old. we are thinking of vaxing ourselves and the 3yo for this, but i'm hesitant. but the only info i have to go on is the fact that even being in contaminated water could lead to a Hep A or B infection.

i was hoping someone here is more knowledgeable than me on this one!

TIA

Not sure about Canada because the pedi version is available in some countries but in the US Twinrix is only licensed for use in people 18 years & older. I wouldn;t personally consider travel to Mexico to be high risk for hep B though.
