Excited--probably bringing home a dog on Sunday!

Some of you may remember that we had to return our Gordon Setter, Aengus, to his breeder last year after a biting incident. We swore we'd never have another dog--at least not for a long time, and since adopted a cat. Last week though, we started to think about a dog again, did some exploring on Pet Finder (that place is dangerous!), and on Sunday we are going to meet, and likely bring home, this little guy.

His foster person says he's a total sweetheart, great with young kids, mellow, and calm. He's 2 years old, so past puppy insanity but with a lot of good years left. She sent some pics of him with her 4 year old, and you can tell how great he is with kids. We'll be meeting him on Sunday, and if it's a match (and we have a very good feeling that it will be, because it's all gone so smoothly), he'll be coming home with us!

What a gorgeous dog! My first thought ist hat he loks like he has some golden in him because one of ours is that same shade of pale creamy gold. Good luck!

Thanks! I was wondering about the golden thing too. I'll have to ask the foster mom if she has any idea. But doxie's do come in a cream color, something I hadn't known until now. He weighs about 17 lbs and his legs look a bit longer than a doxie.
