Stinky, rotten-egg gas (aka "where's the poop?")

DS is 3 days old today. He has passed most of his meconium, and about 2 hours ago had one of those transitional poops that is part meconium and part digested milk. My milk came in about 24 hours ago.

But before the most recent poop, it had been a good day and a half since the last poop. Meanwhile, he's had the STINKIEST gas ever. DD had some stinky toots when she was teeny, but DS's are even worse, lol. I want the stinky gas to go away so I can have my poops.

I would start cutting out your milk and soy now.

Is it yellow or green?

Broccoli does this to my 4 week old. It took me a few times eating broccoli and ending up with a stinky, fussy baby to realize what was doing it. Maybe another gassy food, (or even broccoli like me) is doing it to your babe?

We finally have some beautiful yellow poop today.

And the gas doesn't bother him at all... just bothers me b/c it stinks. But he is relaxed before, during and after passing it and doesn't even seem to notice at all. He makes no fussing or any noise, it just comes out.
