3 HOURS of contractions...

and still no baby. i started with back pain at 1230am. woke me every hour, taking my breath away for a good 10 minutes each. then at 245, i woke up with contractions. they were like BHs with period cramps. i've had them many times before except these ones HURT. they were every 3-5 minutes and lasted over a minute. THREE HOURS of this. then they stopped. OMG. i'm so ready. and tired. lol. i see my midwife this morning so we'll see what she has to say. i wanna have my son today, damnit!

This is pretty much what happened to me in the night before Jonah came. Went away when I got up, came and went all morning, then turned into consistent contractions in the afternoon. I hope it's the real thing for you too!

got back from the midwives. i'm 2cm and 50% effaced, not that it really means anything! lol but still having CRAZY pressure. no contractions like earlier though. a few pains here and there but nothing consistent. MW doesn't think it will be much longer; within a few days she said. yeah, right. LOL my luck, i'll go to 41!!

Ugh, isn't that the worst? DD was born on Saturday, and I had contractions like that Thursday night. I had an appointment the next day, but did not have my MW check me, so I don't know if they were doing anything or not.

Just look at it this way. All those contractions are softening and dilating your cervix, and helping your baby get into a good position for the real thing.

I feel ya mama! I have been having cramping and BH for 3 weeks and now I have had bloody show, cramping, contractions, backache, nausea for at least 4 days now. Its frusturating!! Plus you already have raging hormones from the pregnancy and all this darn "pre labor" crap makes ya wanna scream. Lol. And Im so tired already but this just makes it even worse!

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. I had this for about 4 weeks and then baby came shooting out about 3 short hours after I realized I was for sure for sure in labor. You could go any time now.

I had that on Monday. From around noon until 1am or so on Tuesday and it was a minute and a half to 2 minutes apart the whole time. Insanity. I was soooooooooo tired and peeved to have that all stop. In hindsight I should have known darn good and well it was going to stop because being that close was odd.

ugh! i had my show, contractions today, now i'm nauseous and contracting and backache. i WAS thinking this might be it...till now. LOL gee, thanks. LOL kidding! kinda

i'm so tired. and this contracting is worse when i lie down. this sucks! either piss or get off the pot, baby!
