Vertigo this late in pregnancy?

Hi,
I'm 37 weeks along (due the last day in October) and yesterday at about 3:20 in the afternoon the world started spinning. The weird thing is that I was absolutely 100% fine before 3:20. No colds, no sickness, nothing! I was feeling great and just started to get dizzy. Then I started throwing up. I couldn't focus on anything. Everything looked like it was moving. My husband brought me to the urgent care center and they said it was vertigo and sent me home. I went to bed (miserably) and had issues most of the night. I actually ran into a wall when I got up to go to the bathroom. When I woke up this morning, it was significantly better, BUT I still feel dizzy and nauseous. Like I have been on a merry go round all night. This has never happened before. I haven't ever really had motion sickness or seasickness before so I am confused as to why I would get vertigo now...out of the blue. Any ideas? Anyone else experience this?

I have had that with both low blood pressure, low blood sugar, as well as inner ear infections. ( This was when I was not pregnant) So sorry!! It really sucks!!

Have you been to a chiro? Sounds strange, but I started having severe problems for years with vertigo after having dd. I have neck and back issues and the weight gain was enough to push it over the edge. I have vertebra that, if not kept in check, press on my spinal cord. It's miserable and scary as heck. I would check into that if you haven't already. Unfortunately, you will obviously have to wait for any x-rays until after delivery. It was actually a neck MRI that revealed my major issues regarding this. I hope you feel better soon.
