My kiddos want pen pals!

Thread Starter
My kids REALLY want pen pals. Anyone have kids who want one too?
K is an 11 year old girl who LOVES to write her own stories, create plays, read and make crafts.
M is a 6 year old girl who loves crafts, playing with her siblings, riding her bike and cooking. I would be helping her write, as we are working on her writing skills.
P is a 13 year old boy who loves Runescape, Talisman (really any role playing game), riding his bike, playing his PSP and building htings.
G is a 12 year old boy who also loves all of the role playing games. He is also obsessed with the Titanic and ships building in general. He likes hands on things and is a real mover and shaker.
Anyone??

Just saw this post. My 9 yr old son has been asking about pen pals (actually, he asked if kids still wrote letters to each other instead of e-mail ) because he has no cousins at all. We're the first to have kids in the family because Hubby and I are both the first borns!

I have a 9 year old boy who likes the various cartoony card games, Star Wars, a handful of ever changing things he does in 4-H, plus he's the only true vegetarian in our family; he went that way himself.

I also have a 7 year old boy who is into about the same things + video games and the stuff he does in cub scouts.

I'll PM a few of you guys who seem to have compatible kids, but if anyone else is game, we'll go along with it!

(I also have a 5 yr old girl in public school K, but she's not reading much yet. Her favorite things right now are dolls, her kitchen set, and horses.)

We would like to be added to penpals list. My ds is 8 and loves all sports(whatever is in season). He loves to play Wii and loves to read Geronimo Stilton, Hank, the Cowdog, A-Z Mysteries, any mysteries. We live in Eastern NC.

My kids loved the letters they have received. Hoping ours have been received or will be soon!

They lit up and pulled out the map and it lead to talking about where the letters were from and what kind of weather the other kids were having.

Thanks moms!

I'm brand new here, but we are starting HSing the first week of November and I think my girls would love to send/recieve letters!

Kaylee is 8 (9 in March) and LOVES anything horses, she has been in dance for 5 yrs.

Brooklyn just turned 5 and loves animals of all kinds.

I sure hope we can hook up with some other HSers!

My 5 year old (in a few days) loves having penpals! We faithfully send to anyone who writes us or wants us to write them.

HOWEVER... We've had some people dying to be penpals with us, so we spend a lot of time making a cool card and letter, and then never hear from them. It breaks my daughter's heart. So from now on, we won't be writing any penpals until we get a card first. :P

we all have kids that love to do crafts and make pictures but then what do we do with them??? lets send them around to penpals then everyone will get to share their artwork with other kids and receive mail back

my dd 7 and ds 3 are looking for craft/picture/card making penpals.
they love to make things and receive mail and add the stamps to their collection. i am located in canada but i dont mind sending anywhere in the world. no matter their age every child makes art and loves to get mail. any letter we get we will answer.

To anyone my kids have been writing to, apologies on not getting back for a while. We've been a bit bogged down with flu (one at a time too- talk about taking forever!) and haven't done any of the corresponding.

But the kiddos were worried that their new 'writing friends' would be sad, so I thought I'd hop on here while they were watching so they could see me dropping a note for them!

I have two daughters who would love pen pals! Taylor is 8 years old. She loves scrapbooking, reading, soccer, and playing at the playground. Emily is five years old. She loves soccer and baking. She's very physical but also loves anything that sparkles. We live in British Columbia, Canada. Would your kids be interested in being pen pals?

I am also disappointed that the penpals for my daughters have not written back yet. They are crushed! I think we'll avoid having ANY penpals at all. Each day the mail comes with them hoping for a letter, and nothing ever comes.

So sorry it has to come to this, but seeing my daughters' feelings hurt is very upsetting.
