DS is 10 months and bf'ing has been an easy relationship. About 3 days ago I noticed my left nipple felt raw when DS nursed. There was nothing there that I could see ATM but now there's one little white spot on the tip of it. A tiny little broken blister maybe. Ack. The pain is tolerable but still not fun. If I express some milk it seems to be in the exact spot where most of the milk streams out.

I have nothing to put on it since it's been smooth sailing up until now. I have polysporin... heh. Or petroleum jelly.. I've tried breastmilk but it hasn't seemed to help.

Do you think it would help to just pump from that side and nurse on the other side?

Nipple sheild?

Or tough it out?
