I am drawing a blank. All I can think of is foods with Vit. C, mostly fruits and some veggies. So what are the super foods, or just regular foods, to eat to keep you from getting sick, thinking colds/flus?

Mushrooms are amazing. Greens! Green smoothies will keep you ticking forever. Any raw foods.

Probiotics are exceptionally important for the immune system - kefir, yogurt, kombucha, real sauerkraut are all really good choices. Foods rich in ascorbic acid are also very important: currants, citrus, peppers etc. Preserved lemons are both rich in probiotics and ascorbic acid, so they're a great choice. Also chicken broth is rich in minerals and has been shown in clinical studies to reduce severity of cold and flu symptoms - so there's more to it than an old wives' tale.
