dd lets out more of a screech. I just scoop her up and if anyone is staring announce that she must have to pee then take her right away. Blows people away that she can "tell" me she needs to go.
If I don't take her right away she gets louder. If she goes then she gets really upsed until I clean her up.

my dd cries right before the pee (usually have time to take her if I move quick) and sometimes cries right as she is going but she does this most of the time and I had her tested for a uti around 10-12 wks bcs I was concerned and for us it was not a uti and she continues to cry before most pees. Not sure if that is the same for the op.

And I love the weird looks people give me when I say he has to pee and that I'm taking him to the potty!

DS gets super stiff legged and fusses big time when he needs to pee. Like... I couldn't get him in his wrap he was so stiff legged so I said "fine, maybe you have to pee" and it turns out he did. We VERY part-time EC, but it seems like he always fusses before he has to go... unless he is diaper free- then he just lets it go haha.

DS did this when he was younger - he would cry and fuss, and then pee and he would stop crying or fussing.
I did read in one book that when they are newborns they don't recognise the need to wee until their bladder is really full, and it's uncomfortable or painful for them.
DS did this most wees and it did go away as he got older and he never had a UTI.
