Do you mean Ann Arbor, MI? Dr. Bob Sears keeps a list on his website of vax-friendly doctors. Scroll down to Michigan to find the one in Ann Arbor.

Many have STOPPED seeing peds as the well baby visits are primarily to vaccinate (take it from me, a former peds nurse)

And most parents are first to find a problem, not the ped.

Once you decide you don't want vaccines, you also will discover you won't want much else peds have to offer - meds, meds and more meds.

Many have switched to Naturopaths, Homeopaths, Holistic MD's, or Chiropractors

thanks, i'll look into those

i have been finding that peds are pretty much useless, but i'd like to have one *just in case* we need a prescription for something(can't think of an example though) or, god forbid, a hospitalization. the nice thing about medicaid is that I *could* chose ds's pcp and not have to actually see them, and then we at least have a "just in case" option

question: is not having a doctor reason for cps to be called, etc? i'm worried that if we leave this ped's practice without forwarding our records, she might call them... also, she had said earlier on that she doesnt give the records to parents. is that legal? (i could just tell her that we're firing her and need our records, right?)
