4 month old not sleeping

My 4 1/2 month old is sleeping terribly. At 1 month he was doing great giving me a 5-6 hour stretch now for the past month he is up sometimes once or even twice an hour. Sometimes its a burp, or he's hungry but often he just wants to nurse to fall back asleeep. Anyone have any suggestions? I also have a 3 year old so going w/o sleep is killing me!!

Well, the good news is that this is typical 4 month behaviour - so he's normal! Sorry - that doesn't help you get more sleep - but it may help to cope to know at least it is normal.

ETA: If you do a search for 4 month sleep regression you'll get lots of info about it. It's not because you're breastfeeding - it's a neurodevelopmental thing.

Bring him to your bed and learn to nurse waking as little as possible.
