Crepe batter question

We had crepes for dinner tonight and the recipe made more than me and my 2 kiddos could eat. I know I can make it all tonight and just put the crepes in the fridge but well I'm tired and don't wanna. Can I save the unused batter or will it go icky on me? I plan on using it tomorrow morning but if the batter will settle funny or something I'd rather just make them all up.

You're fine keeping it in the fridge covered for a night.

Did you leave it for two hours or so before you cooked the batter?

No..the recipe suggested 30 min. I was late in getting started so I don't think it was the full 30. Why do they have you do that? This was my first time making them and they rocked.

You'll need to thin it in the morning, just like pancake batter, but it's fine.

You let them sit to allow the air that was whipped into it to escape, as well as letting the gluten develop a bit, so they hold together better.
