I'm glad you will be meeting your LO soon!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your HB plans, but you will be so happy to gaze into your little babe's eyes.

I love and honor your peace with what needs to happen for a healthy birth. Positive vibes to you mama!

Out of curiosity how much is not alot of fluid? If you have more then 5cm then baby has plenty. You can try REALLY super hydrating and have them check again. Sometimes if you're a little dehydrated your fluid levels can drop off. In general at this gestation it's a sign that bubs placenta is getting old and it's not a sign of the baby having a serious issue. Slight increase risk of cord compression, but that's rare. I suppose though if your MW won't attend your HB then you don't have alot of choice at this point, but perhaps if things aren't as dire as they are predicting you might be able to at least hold out and avoid induction.

You should be proud that you stuck it out and gave it your all! That is what is important. But a PP is right.. It won't matter as soon as you gaze into your LOs eyes. Congrats!!!

u/s showed only 3cm.i drank a lot of fluids all day anticipating the u/s. m/w worried about old placenta, but baby seems fine.

i'll post the birth story in a new thread.
