How to start a scrapbooking business

So I posted in another section whether or not I should become a Close to my Heart consultant. They only make 22% and I didn't know if it would really be worth it.
Someone suggested I start my own scrapbooking biz. I'm going to do more googling (so far everything seems to want me to buy their books, etc) but any advice/tips you can give me would be great.

My biggest question I guess, is where would I get my products?

I've read a number of places about starting a business offering scrapbooking services, like putting books together for people...is that what you mean? That's something I'd like to do, but I have no idea how I would go about pricing, taking into account supplies and such since they can get so pricey.

I meant more just selling the products but that would be fun too. I'm just not sure if I'm experienced enough to do that. Layouts and stuff. Or have the time, with a LO running aroun dlol.
