Milk Share?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. I'm wondering about the milk share program. I was unable to breast feed due to a medical condition. I tried, but he wasn't putting out wet diapers and was loosing weight etc. Has anyone had experience with this program?

I donated milk through the Yahoo group MilkShare a while back. I just posted that I had milk to give and was contacted by moms who needed some. There were many postings from moms who are requesting milk, if you just sign up, you can take a look around and see how it works. Good luck!

I donated through Milk Share and thought it was wonderful. I know there are some mamas on MDC who have been Milk Share recipients, too...maybe they'll chime in! Do you have any specific questions?

I was just wondering how it works. I was curious, but not too sure about it. I know they ask for 15.00, but at the moment we're pretty tight financially so I wasn't sure it was worth 15.00 or if I even had to pay. I know it was mentioned we help with shipping costs and the bags, but outside of that I just wasn't sure about the program or how it really works.
