...AMELIA DOES NOT HAVE CAH!!!! we were so worried because it is a life-long issue and can be dangerous if not cared for properly. now we are just waiting for her vit d status to clear up completely and she'll be out of the risk category for osteopenia as well.

she was 8lbs and 20" yesterday. that's a total gain of 2lbs 2 oz from her lowest weight and a gain of 1 lb in the 11 days since she was released from the nicu. so much for the idiot dr worrying about breastfeeding not being enough. she is still getting my milk in a bottle 2-3 times/day but we are going great at the breast!

I'm so happy to hear she is doing better! Happy as well that you are able to bottle and breast feed her! Way to go Amelia!!!!
