How about another name poll? :D

So we've made a short list of names, and are going to wait until we see him to pick The Name.
DP's name is Ronald Scott Sp----, and he goes by his middle name which is the tradition in their family. His dad is Floyd Ronald and goes by Ron. They pass down the middle name to be the first son's first name.
So the baby's name will be Scott "???????" Sp----. (It's a two syllable last name.) And he will go by his middle name.
This is weird, I know, but it's their tradition

So these are the names in the running. What do you all think of these names?

I don't much like Hunter or Yeager (for Chuck Yeager -- DP's in the Air Force and this is a shout out to the pilot Yeager). I like Ryan, but I think maybe it's becoming more of a girl's name? I was pleased that DP likes David -- it's the only "classic" name that we both like. I also like Ewan and Cameron, particularly because they're less common. I think Hudson is cool, but maybe is TOO cool and hip, if that makes any sense!

Anyway, just curious what impressions these names give to all of you.

I voted Hudson--I think it's a familiar enough sound that it wouldn't be viewed all that oddly and it's got some rugged sass to it that I like.

David is my pick and also a possible middle name for us if we have a boy!

ewan - it was on my list of names (but as euan) - eventually narrowed it down to 2 others and waited to meet everett before finalizing it


i like cameron as well

This baby naming thing is HARD! I want to pick the right name and it's just so hard to know. Maybe he'll tell us for sure when he gets here
