Hello,
My little one was born three weeks early, and though she nursed vigorously the first few days of life, her tiny jaw just wasn't getting what it needed to get...as a result, my milk supply all but dried up, and I was forced to supplement with formula. After two weeks of pumping, I am just about ready to transition her from bottle to breast, but she gets easily frustrated when I put her on, and doesn't work long enough to get the milk to come out. I am hating the bottles and the pumping, and feeling trapped at home (chained to the pump, so to speak!). I am wondering if I should continue to offer her the breast before giving her the bottle, or if I should just take a period of time when nothing else is going on and just not offer her the bottle at all, breast only -- I don't have any experience with this, and am wondering if anyone has been through it or has any tips? Thanks!
