Edgar Cayce /Search For God people here ??

I have been a member of the Association for Research and Enlightenment for a few years off and on -started about 1991 or 1992 with Shirley Maclaines movie -Out on a Limb and went on to any book I could find then a lot I bought !!
There was a Search for God group for a couple years and I got better at meditating and enjoyed the group discussions ,etc.
I was also doing the internet SFG group till this week(to many emails to keep up with )-we went through the SFG book 1 and 2 twice -
Anybody want to share ?

I'm not a follower, but I googled it when I saw your thread, and it sounds very interesting. Does it have similarities to Christian Science?

Edgar Cayce was a "Christian man " -he did not start a new religion-just went into trance and gave "readings " on health .spirituality ,Jesus ,reincarnation -
I started reading for health reasons -
then went into past life /reincarnation books /readings-
then into making my church life and belief in reincarnation meld into my personal beliefs (which have some familiar ideas that are probably in Christian Science beliefs )-
I have grown so much over the past 18 years because of his readings .

FYI-
I was raised Lutheran ,married a Catholic went off and on to his church -went to a Unity church-to became a Catholic (to me it was the spirit of the law not the letter of the law )-I believe different than my husband -so it has been difficult -better now than ever .

Hard to get one in real life also-not many people around me even know who Edgar Cayce was !

I have friends who are very into Cayce. They moved to Virginia Beach to be near the institute. I really am not versed enough to be Edgar Cayce Tribe... but i can tell you I went to a channeler here in Southern California who was MOST interesting/amazing. And it turned out that Edgar Cayce's son said of her...."she is the closest medium like my father I have seen."

She was really amazing. She died a couple years ago.

I think Cayce had some predictions that have been coming true of late.
he may have have been in the 2012 line up of predictions but I can't remember now.
