Ideas for bath toys for 3.5yo and 1yo?

I'm looking for some imaginative play toys for my kids at bathtime. We have animals and lots of containers (bottles, funnels, etc.). Was hoping to find something that would go along with the animals maybe, like a floating island? A simple boat? I looked online and the only thing that came close is a lame Dora/Diego island with bad reviews on Amazon.

I checked nova and oompa and didn't see many bath toys. Anyone have a good source for bath toys? They don't need to be made from natural materials, but I'm hoping to avoid characters and to find stuff that will spark some fun make-believe play.

Can you find big sponges to float the animals on? You can cut it into all different shapes.

Love this idea! Also magic cabin (I think) makes a wooden boat you could look into (it's about 10 inches long, shaped kind of like a mix of a canoe & rowboat. Good for animals to ride in.) Found the link -

My boys (1 yr & almost 6) love to play 'cooking' in the bath. We use bubbles, a few rubber fish, washcloths, spatulas, turkey baster, measuring spoons, etc. Great fun.

This is called the Alex Jr Water Xylophone Bath Toy. Its a xylophone that floats in the water. Each key can be detached and floated individually or stuck on the side of the tub. It doesn't sound annoying.

It says its for 3 and up, but I let my almost one year old use it while I'm watching. The kids love it!
