Fetching or Dashing?

Which should I make this weekend? Help me decide please! Also, do you like the fingerless gloves with one opening for all fingers (like above patterns) or part of the glove part on each finger? Thanks!

I keep saying I'm going to make Fetching.

I like dashing better, partially because it has a longer wrist. I always underestimate how long is long enough... I like not having separate fingers because then I can ball up my hands with all my fingers tucked in.

I prefer dashing as well. I made a few sets with shorter wrists and did not like them as much as the longer patterns. Although, I suppose you could easily elongate Fetching if you like it much better.

I think I like Dashing, too!

I actually cast on Fetching back when I first wanted to try my hand at cables. It's hibernating in a bag back home going on 2 years now.

I've made Fetching as gifts 6 or 7 times. It's quick and easy.

fetching but longer It looks too short to me. Though saying that dashing is lovely too.....

I've done the fetching; I didn't like how short they were so I doubled the ribbing at the end and doubled the number of cable sets to lengthen. The dashing look pretty, too. Thanks for the link; that might be my next For Me project.

I just wore my Fetching today-they are comfy and perfectly casual. Dashing def. look longer-but I have only made Fetching-super quick.

I have made them both (many many times) and honestly prefer Fetching. For length I add an extra cable or two at the wrist.

Haven't tried Fetching, but made Dashing for DH and I always try to steal them.

mamawolfe~it'll be okay they knit up real fast!

I'll post a pic when I find what my dh did with my camera. I added two extra repeats of the cables on the wrist, and an extra one at the fingers. I didn't like how loose it was at the fingers, so I undid the picot and left it off, and next time will go down in needle size, maybe just at the fingers, not sure yet.

i like fetching

I made Fetching and didn't like it. Frogged it and made plain stockinette stitch fingerless mitts, which I liked a lot better.

RunningMommy- Thanks for the tip! I'll amend the pattern and post pics when I'm done.
