One nap already??? 11 m.

This just seems to soon, but dd, 11 months, seems to be switching to one nap a day... And it's not a longer nap than when she was having 2... Nor is she sleeping more at night. She usually falls asleep around 8:30, wakes every hour or two all night to nurse, wakes for good at 7, naps 11-12. (Before it was the same schedule but with a second nap around 3:30-4.) That's it!
Is this enough sleep for her? (Although I don't know how I will get her to sleep more if you answer "no".)
When did your dc move to one nap?

My DD went to one nap at 9 months. The only way I could get her to sleep longer at a time was to 1) lie with her and nurse her back to sleep at a light awakening or 2) put her in a carrier and go for a walk.

That's a bit more total sleep than my DD was getting at that age though--she fell asleep at 10pm, woke all night long to nurse, and then got up for the day at 8am.

My DD moved to taking 1 nap/day around 8 or 9 months. I really liked it. It meant we could go out in the morning and actually do something rather than have her sleep the entire time.

But, her afternoon nap was more like a morning nap because she woke up at ~9:30am and then napped at 1pm.

DD switched to one nap at about 9 or 10 months. She now wakes between 7 and 8 am, sleeps for 2-3 hours anywhere from 11am to 3 pm and then goes to bed sometime aroun 8 pm. Some days she wakes after only 45 min and I nurse her back to sleep and she'll sleep for another hour, other days she sleeps right through. She's another all night nurser too, just for the record. When I stopped fighting her trying to get in that second nap her bedtimes were easier and our days more pleasant, but it didn't help her sleep better at night.

I'm in the same boat- my LO is starting to transition to one nap and he's 11 months. He gets 12 hours of sleep at night and then either two-one hour naps or one-two hour nap. It's enough sleep for him as long as he's not showing signs of sleep deprivation. I think a lot of kids don't drop the nap earlier either because 1) they need more sleep or 2) they don't have a choice (CIO). I sort of miss his morning nap because it means a little less alone time for me, but it also means I don't have to put him down twice for a nap. Sometimes your LO might still need two naps- just watch for signs of sleepiness around his old nap times.
