After 42+ weeks...a beautiful baby girl arrived.
Contractions started Sunday night the 11th- just gentle pressure- and after a few hours of them being 2-3 min apart we headed to the hospital where I was 5cm. An hour later I was at 8, still pain-free, and when the sun rose I was at 9. Almost there, right? Well, fast forward a few more hours of labor- lots of walking, position changes, nipple stim- and I still had a lip that the midwife was stuck with. After a nap, we started pitocin- hello PAIN!- and furious contractions...an hour later I was ready to push and 6 pushes later, Charlotte Skye arrived
7lb13oz- 2oz bigger than my prediction! But not the giant baby that people had predicted since I went post dates
She is very laid back, nurses well, and has such good head control. She is a doll. But its hard going from 2-3 kids...but we'll get there.
It seems like all sept babies did arrive after all
