Longies as a cover. What do you put underneath? Do you use a snappi?

I've got two pair of wool longies I just lanolized and I them!

Do you do prefolds or fitteds under your longies (if you use them as a cover) and if you use a prefold, do you use a snappi?

The crotch snappi on ds never seems to stay secured which wasn't a huge problem with his thirsties covers but I don't want it snagging the wool or hooking his leg either.


Thoughts, suggestions?

if it holds well you could probably just cut it off. we use both fitteds and prefolds. honestly i like the fitteds better just because dd squirms a lot, but prefolds are what we can afford right now. lol. i also get a little less nervous about poo getting on the wool when she's in a fitted.

I use everything under wool, never had a problem using a snappi with wool, except for once, and that wool was too long in the legs, and DS managed to pull it off half way, freeing the snappi.
