What about matching dreeses or purses for the girls and a vest for the boy?

What KIND of satin is it? Baroque/costume? Bridal? Crepe-backed? Is it silk, poly, or a blend? That will make a huge difference. If you can get a pic ad post, that will help.

Depending on the weight, you could do hooded capes.

I agree with the capes! They're also pretty simple to make, compared to a lot of the other sewing projects I've done.

I must be selfish. I was gonna suggest a huge, flowy, va-va-voom summer dressing gown.

But matching summer nighties for the girls could be cute too. Nothing like a silky nightie! Then again, Christmas is in winter where you live, so... yeah... capes sound good.

You could make christmas tree skirts or holiday table linens.

pillowcases for all the kids (and yourself)
dress-up clothes/costumes (elastic waist skirts for the girls; cape for the boy; or all capes; or something else)
nightgown for yourself (My favorite sexy nightie was a simple red silk satin in an A-line shape and princess seams with same fabric straps....would be pretty easy since there are no sleeves to fit.)
jammie bottoms for all the kids (or jammie bottoms for the boy and simple nightgowns for the girls)

My first thought was sheets...

But I do like the capes idea!
